YEREVAN — Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan received Aryeh Lightstone, senior adviser to the U.S. special envoy for peace missions. The parties highlighted the significant developments and achievements recorded since the Washington peace summit of August 8, 2025. They noted that these achievements were also the result of the implementation of three memoranda signed in Washington on August 8, one year earlier. Mirzoyan and Lightstone also discussed opportunities and programs for expanding trade and economic cooperation and strengthening Armenia’s economic and energy resilience. The parties reviewed ongoing efforts to implement the TRIPP project and emphasized their shared interest in carrying it out on the ground as quickly as possible.
