Police were called to a property on Lomond View in the early hours of Saturday, August 1 after receiving reports of a serious assault. A 23-year-old man was taken to hospital and was described as being in a stable condition. The pair made no plea when they appeared at Ayr Sheriff Court on Monday, August 3, as both faced allegations of attempted murder, assault to injury and danger to life. A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 2.35am on Saturday, August 1, we were called to a report of a 23-year-old man seriously assaulted within a property on Lomond View, Drongan. “Two men have been arrested and charged.
