Bermuda’s men’s team finished the opening round of the 69th Caribbean Amateur Golf Championships in a three-way tie for the lead at one-under-par. Competing at Royal Blue Golf Course in Nassau, Bahamas, Bermuda ended the first day play level with the Cayman Islands and Trinidad & Tobago at the top of the men’s team standings. Bermuda’s women’s team finished the opening round in fifth place at 24-over-par. Eric West led Bermuda’s men with a three-under-par 69, leaving him fourth in the individual gross standings. Sienna Mosquera led Bermuda in the Ladies Best Gross Division, finishing the opening round in 11th place after carding an 11-over-par 83.
