Classic Sega consoles, including the Dreamcast, Sega Saturn, and Mega Drive, are getting new official watches based upon their classic designs. The last brand-new console to be released by Sega was the Dreamcast, way back in 1998. Sega Classics Reimagined as WatchesCloseNow, a series of official Sega-branded wristwatches based upon the Mega Drive, Sega Saturn, and Sega Dreamcast have been revealed and made available for pre-order. Given that it's been nearly 30 years since the last brand-new Sega console was released, it's clear that Sega's pivot in business worked for the company. Though the heyday of Sega consoles has ended, those who grew up with its games still have a lot to enjoy and look forward to.
