Nearly £400,000 has been raised for North Yorkshire Moors Railway’s Bridge 42 Appeal. The railway needs to raise £800,000 in total, and to help do this, staff and volunteers plan to bungee jump from Larpool Viaduct in Whitby. They will be taking the leap of 42 metres on the 20th of September in hopes of more donations. The jump, organised by UK Bungee Jump, has its own fundraising page, which can be viewed here. The railway has also been selling badges and prints to help raise funds.
