English Heritage, the independent charity that maintains the vast National Heritage Collection, has appointed Tim Reeve as its new Chief Executive. English Heritage oversees some four hundred historic sites and monuments throughout England, including Stonehenge, Hadrian’s Wall, and the Westbury White Horse, as well as more than a million artifacts. V&A director Tristram Hunt said: “Tim has been a truly transformative deputy director of the V&A. Reeve’s move to English Heritage will be a homecoming of sorts. He takes over at English Heritage from Geoff Parkin, who has served as interim chief executive since July 2025, after the resignation of Nick Merriman.
