Airbnb.org, a nonprofit founded by Airbnb to provide emergency housing in times of crisis, is partnering with Washington 211 to offer free emergency housing to residents displaced by several active wildfires across six Washington counties and three tribal communities. ”“Washington 211 has long been the front door to help in Washington—and now, thanks to our partnership with Airbnb.org, that includes temporary housing for people who are displaced or lost their homes,” said Deb Miller, Washington 211 Board Chair. Since its founding in 2020, Airbnb.org has provided nearly 17,000 nights of free emergency housing in Washington. Following the Skagit River flooding in December 2025, Airbnb.org and Washington 211 partnered to provide nearly 1,300 nights of free emergency housing.
