Carrying forward a legacy of hope, Four Seasons Hotel Kyoto will lead this year’s Kyoto Terry Fox Run on Sunday, September 27, 2026, from 8:30 am to 11 am, to raise funds for cancer research. A spirit of community shapes the Kyoto Terry Fox Run, welcoming individuals, families, friends and colleagues to gather for a shared purpose and complete the 2.5-kilometre loop at their own pace. All proceeds will be donated to the Kyoto University Cancer Immunotherapy and Immunobiology Centre, a non-profit organisation dedicated to advancing cancer prevention, detection and treatment. The Terry Fox Run is inspired by 22-year-old Terry Fox, who embarked on his Marathon of Hope across Canada after losing his right leg to bone cancer, raising CAD 24 million for cancer research before his illness returned. “We are honoured to once again host the Kyoto Terry Fox Run and make a collective stride towards a cancer-free future,” says Fanny Guibouret, General Manager of Four Seasons Hotel Kyoto.
