Meridian's Community Decarbonisation Fund Delivers $1.8M To 37 Groups Across AotearoaMeridian Energy has distributed $1.8 million to 37 community groups across Aotearoa New Zealand through its Community Decarbonisation Fund, the largest annual distribution in the fund’s four-year history and a record number of recipients. Meridian has today released its Impact and Transparency Report, providing the list of Certified Renewable Energy recipients in the 2025 fund. "Decarbonisation can feel out of reach for community groups that are already stretched. "And every dollar of it comes from New Zealand businesses choosing our Certified Renewable Energy product. The Community Decarbonisation Fund was established in 2022 and is funded entirely by net proceeds from Meridian’s Certified Renewable Energy product.
