They deployed their most effective weapons against Ukrainian cities: Iskander-M and S-400 ballistic missiles, as well as Zircon anti-ship missiles. Until now, the discussion of defence against Iskander missiles has focused mainly on missiles for Patriot air-defence systems. As the Ukrainian website RBC Ukraine wrote, Iskander launchers are most of the time kept in large hangars at air bases.
