(CBS 58) -- Preparations are in full swing for the 175th Wisconsin State Fair. But before the fun begins, officials took time to inspect the fair's amusement rides. Nearly 40 rides have already been checked over the past two weeks and will be given daily inspections throughout the event. "An event like Wisconsin State Fair draws the best mobile rides, it draws the best operators, and if they get a reputation for a safety issue, that travels with them. New this year is the America 250 Wheel, which is 75 feet taller than the WonderFair Wheel featured at previous State Fairs.
