CBS 58SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Two teens are hurt after a vehicle struck them as they were riding an electric bicycle in Sheboygan.
According to Sheboygan police, a 14-year-old girl from Sheboygan was operating an illegal electric bike when she failed to stop for a stop sign.
She was struck by a vehicle that had the right-of-way.
The 14-year-old was cited for operating a motor vehicle without a license and failing to stop at a stop sign.
The Sheboygan Police Department would like to remind parents and the public that not all electric bicycles are legal and that proper training and education should be considered before allowing children to operate e-bike and e-motos (illegal electric bicycles and motorcycles).
