PLT Training, one of the UK’s leading health and safety training firms, has secured PASMA (Prefabricated Access Suppliers' and Manufacturers' Association) accreditation following the creation of a dedicated scaffold tower training area and the recruitment of three new instructors. Operations director Kath Lang said the move to PLT’s new Pearsall Drive training centre in Oldbury had been 'fundamental' to securing PASMA approval. "Relocation to our new training centre has been fundamental in the PASMA accreditation, giving us access to hi-spec classrooms, the latest equipment and additional space to run the courses," she said. PLT can now deliver PASMA Low-Level Access training, Towers for Users (covering single-bay mobile towers reaching up to 8m outdoors and 12m indoors), and a combined course covering both. The PASMA accreditation builds on PLT’s rapid growth since founder Nicc Bennett began offering free health and safety sessions nearly 20 years ago.
