Boosted by higher gas prices at the pump, but also building on strong operational discipline, Murphy USA saw a big leap second quarter income, and CEO Mindy West suggested the second half of the year could be even stronger. “Given strong year-to-date results, while we remain in line with most of our guided performance metrics, market conditions remain supportive of healthy retail margins and suggest the business is on pace to deliver significantly higher net income and adjusted EBITDA in 2026,” said Murphy USA CEO Mindy West. Quarterly net income was $209.1 million, or $11.27 per diluted share, compared to net income of $145.6 million, or $7.36 per diluted share, in the second quarter of last year. “Murphy USA delivered another quarter of strong financial and operational performance, demonstrating the earnings power and durability of our low-cost, high-volume business model,” said West. Over the last year, Murphy USA stock (NYSE: MUSA) has traded between a low of $349.83 per share and a high of $636.05 per share.
