ASA strongly supports the inclusion of additional over-quota sugar tariffs in Section 301 remedies and encourages the U.S. trade representative to comprehensively address over-quota sugar tariffs in a sugar-specific Section 301 investigation. ASA submitted comments in the 301 investigations to this effect, while requesting that no additional tariffs be placed on in-quota sugar imports,” Johansson said.
