IURC: Andy ZayINDIANAPOLIS -- Andy Zay, a Commissioner with the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission, was discharged from his position on Aug. 3. Mike Braun's office confirmed Zay's removal to ABC57 News. Confirmation was also given by Kirollos Barsoum, Director of Communications at Indiana State Personnel Department. State officials say Zay was discharged for non-adherence to state policies and laws related to his role with the IURC. Zay previously represented Indiana Senate District 17, beginning in 2016.
