The Los Angeles Dodgers may be back-to-back World Series champions, but they aren't immune from a slump. They're currently in their longest losing streak since July 2025 after a late comeback attempt fell just short in a 7-6 loss to the Chicago Cubs on Wednesday. Roberts also addressed the six-game losing streak, noting that "last year is last year." He did, however, note that the Dodgers won the World Series at the end of that season. Through all of it though — the losing streak, the unpopular trade for superstar pitcher Tarik Skubal, the pursuit of baseball history with a possible three-peat — the key will be focus, Roberts said.
