3 team in the class proved to be too much for Sigourney-Keota as they fell to Iowa City Regina 41-7. The game started with a bang as Regina sophomore Gabriel Hegelheimer took the opening kickoff 95 yards to the house for a touchdown to establish a 7-0 lead. Things began to snowball quickly, as on the Cobras’ first drive of the game, starting tailback Ike Molyneux fumbled and Regina recovered. A four-play drive, capped off with a 5-yard touchdown run by senior quarterback Kyle Tracy, quickly set the score at 14-0. Regina punched in two more scores before the end of the half to turn on the running clock, heading to the locker room with a 35-0 lead.
