The Swifts lost an entertaining Irish Cup Final to Coleraine, before going on to lose out to Linfield in the European Play-Off Final weeks later. McAree feels that it was a bitter pill to swallow for Dungannon who otherwise enjoyed another extremely competitive campaign. After finishing sixth last season, Dungannon are no longer the “Dark horses” of the division and have managed to turn their home ground into a daunting place to visit. Jamie Glackin has joined Dungannon Swifts from Coleraine.
