UPDATE 4:36 p.m.Vernon's Community Foundation North Okanagan (CFNO) has established the Wildfire Response 2026 Fund to collect and grant donations toward relief and recovery, now and through the season ahead. People can donate online, by e-transfer at [email protected], noting Wildfire Response 2026 Fund by cheque payable to the CFNO with the memo Wildfire Response 2026 Fund. The centre is located at Seaton Secondary School, 2701 41st Avenue, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily throughout the week.
