In light of the ongoing wildfire situation in the North Okanagan, the Vernon Public Art Gallery is postponing the opening of exhibits. There will be drop-in self-guided art activities, art films playing and an art reading nook. The artist talk with Kavanagh will now take place virtually, live in the gallery, on Aug. 20 at 6 p.m. The Vernon Public Art Gallery extends its gratitude to emergency personnel and everyone supporting those affected by the wildfires and looks forward to welcoming the community together again as the time is right.
