Ruby Janelle Gilliland, age 82, of Crossville, Tennessee, passed away on July 29, 2026. She was born on August 3, 1944, in Crossville, Tennessee, and was the daughter of the late Everett Esque Green and Ruby Phillips Green. Ruby was a devoted homemaker who loved the Lord and faithfully served him by singing in her church quartet. She also enjoyed playing her guitar, spending time with family and friends, and never missed an opportunity to share a laugh. In addition to her parents, Ruby was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Gilliland, and daughters-in-law, Tammie Hyder and Charlotte Hyder.
