A 22-year-old man was arrested on July 29 and faces felony charges following an investigation into the sexual abuse of a minor, according to the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office. Eslin Martinez-Villatoro was taken into custody and charged with rape of a child and solicitation of a minor. According to the arrest affidavit, he allegedly used the pseudonym Udiel Martinez to communicate with a 12-year-old female victim via Facebook Messenger and Snapchat. Investigators documented four separate text message threads and an image depicting a sexual act shared between Martinez-Villatoro and the minor. When questioned by deputies, the victim reported that the photographed incident occurred approximately two weeks prior to the investigation.
