Nigerian Army detains 2 soldiers over unauthorised security at Peller, Jarvis wedding

Nigerian Army has taken two of its personnel into custody over their alleged involvement in providing unauthorised security at the wedding ceremony of social media personalities Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller, and Jarvis.
The detained soldiers were identified as Privates Onasanya Ifeoluwa and Ukpai Onyinyechi, both serving with the Nigerian Army Medical Services and Hospital, Obalende, Lagos.
Confirming the development, the spokesperson for the 81 Division of the Nigerian Army, Lt.-Col. Musa Yahaya, said the two personnel were taken into custody on Tuesday following reports of their alleged unauthorised deployment.
According to the Army, the soldiers are being investigated over claims that they were deployed without official approval to provide security at the private event.
The Nigerian Army has yet to announce the outcome of its investigation or whether disciplinary measures will be taken against the affected personnel.
