According to AA Traffic News, there are delays of nine minutes on the M4 westbound between the M4 and junction 24 for the A449 at Coldra. The average speed here is said to be 20 mph. There are also delays of five minutes on the M4 westbound between junction 24 for the A449 at Coldra and junction 26 for the A4051 at Malpas Road. There are further delays of two minutes on the M4 westbound between junction 23A for the A4810 at Magor Services and junction 25 for the B4596 Caerleon Road at Caerleon. There is also congestion on the M4 westbound from the Prince of Wales Bridge to junction 25 for Caerleon.
