Officers were called to an incident on Baneswell Road at around 8am on Monday, August 3. The man was also arrested on suspicion of breaching the conditions of his Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO). "We received reports of an assault and criminal damage on Baneswell Road, Newport, at around 8am on Monday 3 August. "Officers attended and, after viewing CCTV footage, arrested a 41-year-old man on suspicion of criminal damage and using threatening/insulting words/behaviour to cause harassment/alarm/distress. "The man, from Newport, was also arrested on suspicion of breaching the conditions of his Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO).
