Both of the shops will be closed for three months following the court-ordered closure. A spokesperson for Gwent Police said: "Newport Central PCSOs conducted joint visits with Newport City Council Trading Standards as part of Op Firecrest. "They closed two stores within the Newport area. Police and trading standards officers say the work is about more than protecting legitimate businesses. The operation has been recognised as a significant success in tackling counterfeit goods and helping keep Newport communities safer.
