COVENTRY Blaze have confirmed the signing of Canadian forward Ryan Richardson for the 2026/27 Elite League season. Richardson joins the Blaze from Greensboro Gargoyles of the ECHL where he played 61 games, scoring 12 goals and adding six assists for 18 points. Prior to turning professional, Richardson spent four seasons at Clarkson University between 2021 and 2025. Blaze head coach, Kevin Moore said: “Ryan is a skilled forward who is ready to unlock his full potential as a professional. During his time at Clarkson, Richardson played 147 games, recording 26 goals and 53 assists for 79 points.
