New York Mets reliever Jefry Yan was hyped after picking up his first career strikeout on Wednesday. Yan, after successfully catching Cleveland Guardians outfielder Angel Martinez looking in the sixth inning of a 6-5 victory, got up. Yan was called up from the Mets' Triple-A affiliate in Syracuse on Monday before his debut Wednesday. "I am going to continue to go out there the same way," Yan said Tuesday, via the New York Post. Yan ended up pitching one inning in the one-run win for the Mets.
