Press Release – NylonAuckland legaltech company Nylon (formerly Law Cyborg) is today opening a Seed round seeking to raise $20m. Nylon, which uses AI to answer detailed questions on tax and law, now serves close to 2,000 accounting and law firms across New Zealand, Australia and the UK. The company expanded into Australia and the UK in 2025, with its core tax law offering. Alongside the raise, Nylon has launched a meeting bot that sits in on client and advisory meetings across accounting and law. Nylon’s technology restricts its AI to answering only from a defined set of trusted sources, such as tax law, case files and government material, and provides in-text citations and a confidence score with every answer.
