Sean “Diddy” Combs is now expected to remain in federal prison nearly one month longer than his most recent projected release date. The agency has not explained the change or connected it to Combs’ reported July altercation with another inmate. Bureau of Prisons release dates are projections and can change as sentence calculations, earned credits and other factors are reviewed. Combs is serving a 50-month sentence after a federal jury convicted him of two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. The confrontation occurred before Combs’ release projection moved from January back to February.
