Routt County commissioners have unanimously approved SBT GRVL’s permit application request for the 2027 iteration of the annual race, albeit with a few changes. The SBT GRVL team has worked hard to ease conflicts from races past. Opposition campaigns formed and residents offered public comments to county commissioners. There were even “No SBT GRVL” signs made. But with the success of this year’s late-June event, SBT GRVL organizers have been given the green light to expand.
