[]

The 14-week programme, to be completed this autumn, will include the creation of nine urgent treatment examination pods, including two designed to provide greater privacy for examinations.
There will also be eight additional treatment spaces, along with dedicated assessment and diagnostic rooms to support patients.
The pitstop area will increase from four to six trolleys and include a new centrally-positioned staff base.
The improvements will help the hospital meet the rising demand for emergency care, including a projected growth in the number of patients arriving by ambulance.
