Police are working to determine the circumstances which led to the death of a man and woman in a rural town overnight. Southern Region Assistant Commissioner Matthew Vanderbyl said the eight hour siege ended in tragedy. When they entered the property on King Street, police located the bodies of a 45-year-old man and 23-year-old woman. The assistant commissioner was unable to confirm many details when he spoke with reporters on Thursday. The assistant commissioner said that the event would be felt right throughout the rural town.
