MOORHEAD — Moorhead Spuds girls hockey defenseman Maggie Greenagel announced her commitment to play Division I women's hockey at Sacred Heart University on social media Tuesday night.
"I am humbled, honored and incredibly grateful to announce my commitment to play (Division I) hockey and further my educational career at Sacred Heart University," Greenagel wrote on social media.
"Thank you to the coaching staff at Sacred Heart for believing in me and giving me this incredible opportunity," Greenagel wrote.
Former Spuds Bria and Ella Holm also play for Sacred Heart, which is located in Fairfield, Connecticut.
Sacred Heart competes in the New England Women's Hockey Alliance.
