Hanumakonda: Emphasising the importance of accessible healthcare, Wardhannapet MLA KR Nagaraju lauded the efforts of voluntary organisations in bringing quality medical services to rural communities.
He described free medical camps for the underprivileged as a meaningful step towards improving public health and reducing the financial burden on poor families.
The MLA was speaking after inaugurating a mega free medical camp at the Government Primary School in Katryal village of Wardhannapet mandal on Wednesday.
Nagaraju said regular health check-ups help in the early detection of diseases, enabling timely treatment and creating greater health awareness among villagers.
Later, the MLA underwent eye and blood tests along with villagers, distributed free medicines to beneficiaries and presented appreciation certificates to youth volunteers who donated blood, encouraging others to actively participate in humanitarian initiatives.
