Miryalaguda ( Nalgonda): Launchinga sharp attack on the Congress government, BRS leader Anugula Rakesh Reddy on Wednesday alleged that the Congress administration has failed to protect the interests of unemployed youth, students, and employees. Addressing a press conference at the BRS party office in Miryalaguda on Wednesday, he accused the government of neglecting the education sector and delaying key recruitment and employee welfare measures. He alleged that families are already spending beyond their means to educate their children due to the rising cost of education. The BRS leader also accused the government of attempting to deny students the benefits of the fee reimbursement scheme, saying such policies would place an additional financial burden on economically weaker sections. Expressing concern over the functioning of the education department, he alleged that only four out of the state’s 33 districts currently have District Education Officers (DEOs), and urged the government to give greater priority to strengthening the education system.
