Shelden cleaned the scene, put the body in a plastic tote and drove to Tennessee, where he dumped the remains off a mountain overhang. In October 2016, Shelden led investigators to the cliff in Fentress County, Tennessee. “In 2016, the Defendant brutally murdered Mark Trent and dumped his body off a cliff in Tennessee like a piece of garbage,” Delaware County Prosecutor Eric Hoffman said.
