Noblesville teen dies after crashing into utility pole on 156th StreetNOBLESVILLE, Ind. (WISH) — A 17-year-old Noblesville boy died Wednesday morning after his car hit a utility pole, Noblesville Police Department said in a news release. Shehzil Aamir died in the crash, which happened at 9:27 a.m. Wednesday in the 13600 block of 156th Street. That’s north of Ruoff Music Center and east of Olio Road. As of Wednesday afternoon, both lanes of 156th Street between Granite Peak Boulevard and Olio Road remained restricted or closed while Duke Energy worked to repair the utility pole.
