Calgary police say one person was taken into custody following reports of a stabbing in Calgary's Core Shopping Centre on Wednesday. Officers responded to reports of a stabbing in the downtown Calgary mall shortly before 10 a.m. Wednesday, police confirmed in an email. Upon arrival, officers found no physical evidence of injuries at the scene, and police say the alleged victim had already left the scene. "Police tried locating (the alleged victim), but it appears he left the area," the Calgary Police Service told Postmedia Calgary in an email.
