The latest major Minecraft update has been released in the form of version 26.40. The patch includes bug fixes, gameplay improvements, accessibility updates, and more. This includes boats requiring fewer hits to break, experimental features including the dappled forest, abandoned camps, and cushions, and more. Fixed an issue where the game would crash when opening the game from an invite notification on Android. Minecraft is out on Nintendo Switch with a Switch 2 version coming soon.
