Ebdon Farm, located on the North Somerset Levels and Moors, will be turned into a community-focused reserve and wetland project by Avon Wildlife Trust, thanks to funding from The National Lottery Heritage Fund. The project is Avon Wildlife Trust’s largest to date and follows more than a year of community engagement, ecological monitoring, and land surveys. Leah McNally, chief executive at Avon Wildlife Trust, said: "This is amazing news for nature in North Somerset and for the communities that surround Ebdon Farm. Ebdon Farm will become a nature reserve focused on climate resilience, demonstrating how ecological restoration can help communities adapt to climate change.
