ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Golisano Children’s Hospital has rolled out a new mobile health clinic designed to bring care directly to Rochester kids who may need it. The new mobile clinic will hit the streets in the coming weeks and is being staffed with nurses, nurse practitioners, and a social worker. The mobile unit will visit R-Centers, the Central Library and homeless shelters four days a week. The hope is the people who work in the mobile medical clinic can offer medical attention in the moment and then connect families to more long-term solutions. Golisano Children’s raised funds to build and equip the mobile unit, the biggest donor was Le-Chase Construction.
