ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Lawmakers from both sides of the aisle are pressing the Food and Drug Administration for answers on the nation’s cancer drug shortage.
Strong Hospital and Rochester Regional Health both said so far they haven’t felt the impact of the drug shortage.
Stablow also spoke with the Cancer Support Community at Gilda’s Club Rochester, which supports cancer patients and their families.
According to the American Journal of Managed Care, a peer-reviewed medical journal, drug shortages can drive up costs of treatment.
