Cheshire Police said that officers received ‘multiple reports’ of theft from motor vehicles and attempted thefts from motor vehicles overnight between Saturday, August 1, and Sunday, August 2. Incidents were reported in Merton Drive, Lache Park Avenue, Edwards Road, Smithy Pathway, Mercer Way, Lonsdale Court and Lache Hall Crescent. Cash, a wallet and a purse were reported to have been stolen during this period. Police say enquiries are ongoing and officers are patrolling the area.
