Business owner charged with assault still seeking lawyer

A downtown business owner who faces multiple charges after confronting an intruder has been given three months to find a lawyer.
Robert Boucher, owner of Exotics and Aquatics pet shop appeared in the Ontario Court of Justice in the 101 Mall at 38 Pine St. N on Tuesday, July 28 at 1:30 p.m. in Timmins for his first court appearance.
Boucher lives above his pet shop on Second Avenue with his wife, Hailey Morgan.
Boucher says he and his wife sleep in shifts because they have been vandalized and broken into a total of six times.
Thinking the pet had been stolen, he chased the intruder up the alley next to his shop to Third Avenue, where an altercation ensued.
