Minnesota has once again found itself near the top of the list when it comes to the best states for having a baby.
“The best states for having a baby minimize costs while providing top-notch care for both newborns and their mothers," said WalletHub's Chip Lupo.
MINNESOTA CHILD CARE SHINESMinnesota's second-place ranking was also aided by it having the fourth-highest number of nationally accredited child-care centers and the 14th-most pediatricians per capita.
In the final rankings, Minnesota finished 21st in 'Cost,' fourth in overall health care, seventh in baby-friendliness and second overall in family-friendliness.
Massachusetts took the top overall spot, including the top spot in 'family-friendliness,' while Vermont finished eighth but first in overall health care.
