A Singaporean court has jailed a Hong Kong mother and her adult son for up to six months following a chaotic clash at Changi Airport, during which the pair attacked a police officer and a bystander.
According to court documents, the son became agitated after mistakenly believing bystanders were mocking him, leading him to kick his mother.
When a 69-year-old bystander stepped in to check on the woman, she told him to leave, while her son aggressively challenged him to a fight.
The situation escalated shortly after on another floor of the terminal, where the son kicked his mother again.
When the bystander attempted to call police, the son rushed towards him.
