The Pennsylvania Independent Fiscal Office is reporting that July saw significant tax revenue increases compare to last year. The over 10 percent increase is credited to a 41 percent increase in corporate net income tax, 9 percent non-motor vehicle revenues increase, and an increase of 49 percent for the inheritance tax collections. Gaming revenues from increased wagering likely due to the World Cup, nontax revenues, and an increase in personal income taxes also contributed to the revenue increase. The IFO expects to release the monthly revenue projections sometime in August. The post IFO Details Revenue Increase for PA appeared first on ButlerRadio.com – Butler, PA.
