Heavy Security as Accused Killer of Kiffer McKenzie Faces CourtHeavy police security surrounded the arraignment of twenty-four-year-old Lennox Gentle this morning, as he was taken before the Belize City Magistrate’s Court to answer to a charge of murder for the killing of Kiffer McKenzie, the last surviving son of the late George “Junie Balls” McKenzie.
Gentle, a deliveryman of Belize City, was escorted to court by heavily armed GI3 officers shortly before ten o’clock.
The heightened security comes a few weeks after the brazen execution of thirty-three-year-old Kiffer McKenzie in downtown Belize City.
Also present were three GI3 officers and three court police officers, all assigned to maintain security during the arraignment.
The Senior Magistrate read him a single charge of murder in connection with the June thirteenth, 2026, killing of Kiffer McKenzie.
